Analytics & Reporting

Dynamic Pivoting

Report authors can now create pivot tables dynamically based on attributes, without needing pre-defined calculation concepts. Fact-based attributes—IDs, strings, dates, and more—can be used to group data as rows or columns, while numeric attributes support aggregated values such as sums and averages.

Your customers gain flexible, ad hoc pivoting that adapts to their reporting needs without engineering involvement. Note: this feature also resolves the display of inactive employees in payroll reports.

Multiple Custom Calendars in a Single Analysis

Authors can now publish charts using multiple custom calendars within a single analysis—for example, displaying compensation costs on a Fiscal Calendar while resignation trends appear on a Gregorian Calendar in the same view.

Rename Metrics on Quadrant and Relationship Charts

Authors can now add custom names to metrics on quadrant and relationship charts, using the existing rename UI from the comparison workflow. Default metric names can be overwritten with shorter or more descriptive alternatives that help users quickly understand the intent of a chart.

Organize My Analyses

Users can now organize their saved analyses using simple, personalized labels, making it easier to find the right content quickly without relying on long or inconsistent file names.

Easily Reshare Analyses

Users can now re-share an analysis with a net-new user—including analyses that were originally shared with them by a different author. This expands the reach of curated insights within your customers’ organizations without requiring author involvement.

HR Benchmark Refresh for Spring 2026

HR benchmarks have been refreshed with data up to February 1, 2026, ensuring your customers are comparing their workforce metrics against the most current market data available.

Changes to 90-Day and 1-Year Resignation Rate of New Starts

New benchmark and internal comparison metrics are now available to help your customers track early-tenure attrition with greater precision. These metrics give your customers a clearer picture of where early turnover is concentrated, supporting more targeted retention strategies.

  • (Updated calculation) 90-Day Resignation Rate of New Starts – Benchmark trends for new hire 90-day resignation rates. Measures exactly what percentage of employee starts resigned before their 91st day.
  • (New metric) 1-Year Resignation Rate of New Starts – Benchmark trends for new hire resignation rates at the one-year mark, with the ability to filter by job

Platform

Studio Assistant

The Studio Assistant now incorporates tenant-specific knowledge—including your customers’ actual Visier environment, security settings, and data model—alongside Visier’s Knowledge Base. This means admins get faster, more accurate answers that reflect how their organization is actually configured, reducing the back-and-forth required during setup and ongoing management.

This feature is in limited availability. Please contact your Partner Success Manager for more information.

MCP Server

Partners and customers using external AI tools for workforce insights can now connect those tools to Visier data through the MCP Server. It provides a secure, standardized interface for AI agents to access trusted Visier data, enabling more sophisticated workflows without compromising data governance.

Near Real-Time Data Integration

Partners can refresh data significantly faster to support near real-time reporting needs with this add-on. Through architecture improvements in both Snowflake and Databricks connectors, data updates can reach Visier in as little as 8 seconds from source.

This allows you to deliver highly current, responsive analytics to your customers, meeting growing demand for immediate operational insights. Currently available for Snowflake and Databricks deployments. Please contact your Partner Success Manager for more information.

Table Source Type Supported in Additional Connectors (Phase 1)

The ability to store sources as table sources (SQL records rather than Parquet files) is expanding to JDBC connector. Table sources are foundational to near real-time data loads and give customers more flexibility to manage and transform their data using SQL queries—useful for scenarios such as GDPR data removal requests.

Materialized Views

An extension to Table Source functionality, Materialized Views allow customers to combine data from different tables and sources into a single unified view that updates automatically whenever upstream data changes.

This simplifies cross-references to transformed data—such as mappings and business rules—by allowing a single table to be referenced instead of multiple. For unstructured streaming data, materialized views also provide the structure needed to work within Visier’s data model.

Data Export Connectors – Databricks and Snowflake

A new data-out connector enables customers to automate sending metric exports directly to Databricks and Snowflake. This supports growing demand for seamless integration between Visier’s people analytics layer and customers’ preferred data storage and governance platforms.

Source Security Improvement

Source management has historically required Super Admin permissions, creating a bottleneck for organizations where data engineers and analysts need to manage sources without full system-level access. This improvement introduces more granular permission controls, allowing source management responsibilities to be delegated appropriately—reducing over-provisioning risk and improving operational velocity as your customers scale.

External Observability for Audit Events

Partners with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems can now programmatically receive Visier Audit events via a subscription interface. Audit events from all customer tenants are aggregated and delivered via webhook directly to the SIEM, enabling near real-time integrated security analysis and anomaly detection—replacing the previous approach of downloading audit logs per tenant.

Multi-Perspective Security Access Graph/Explorer

A new holistic view of permissions is now available, addressing a widely raised customer concern about the difficulty of understanding who has what access across their Visier environment. The feature delivers end-to-end permission mapping in a clear, navigable format, available to all customers.

Third-Party CIAM for Visier People

Visier now supports third-party Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions such as Amazon Cognito User Pools, Okta, and Auth0. This gives your customers flexibility in how they manage authentication and identity, aligning with their existing infrastructure and security standards.
