Description:
When viewing a chart, specifically a Breakdown/Trend Breakdown chart that is using multiple dimensions, it would be great if you could hover over one of the items in the legend and gain additional details/insights about that specific legend item. Similar to how you hover over an item within a chart and it gives you details about that item, you could instead hover over a legend item and get similar details.
Use Case:
In my example, if say we were looking at total headcount by department and age group, and “age group” was the dimension shown in the legend, if we hovered over one of the age group options in the legend, the details would include total headcount for that specific age group and the overall percentage of that age group in the entire population in the chart, as opposed to the totals you would get when hovering in the chart on an age group for a specific department.
